Historical Documents – This site, sponsored by the Yale Law School, provides links to a huge number of historical documents from 4000 BC to the present. Almost anything from the Code of Hammurabi to the 9/11 Commission Report can be found here.
The American Colonist’s Library – A treasury of Primary Documents. Another listing of important historical documents relating to early America. A number of the links listed in here are broken or the site linked no longer exists. But there are enough good links to still make it a valuable resource.
The Internet Modern History Sourcebook – This sourcebook contains thousands of links to historical texts and documents. The texts can be divided into three broad categories, ancient history, medieval and modern history. The specific categories are too numerous to list here. They have made a great effort to remove broken links and a number of documents are contained within the site. There are also links to other historical sourcebooks of a specific nature.
